Pacific Hematology Clinic Vancouver

Pacific Hematology provides specialized hematological services to patients with hematological diseases from all over the province of British Columbia and the Yukon Territory. We provide consultative services and accept referrals from family physicians and other specialist offices. Our scope of practice includes treating patients with benign hematological problems such as anemia, abnormal white blood cell and platelet counts, and malignant hematological problems such as chronic leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma, myelodysplastic disorders and myeloproliferative neoplasms.

MSSU at St. Paul's Hospital

  • Our patients are often seen at the Medical Short Stay Unit at St. Paul’s Hospital. The MSSU is located on the 8th floor of the Providence Building (new tower) of St. Paul’s Hospital.

  • Our hematologists are UBC Faculty of Medicine staff, and are involved in the teaching and training of medical students, residents and fellows. Our involvement in clinical research provides opportunities for motivated students to work alongside our medical team in order to investigate avenues in health science. Interested individuals are encouraged to contact Pacific Hematology if they are interested in partaking in hematological clinical research.

Our hematologists are actively engaged in clinical research and investigate both benign and malignant hematological disorders.
